Kalabia Walking Shark

The namesake of the Kalabia education program is the Raja Ampat walking shark (from the Hemiscyllium genus of shark).  Also commonly known as sports betting the epaulette shark or bamboo shark, Kalabia is the local Maya tribe's name for this species of shark found nowhere else on the planet!
